Step-by-Step: Cleaning Your Spectacle Lenses at home

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly – Use soap and water to remove oils and dirt before handling your glasses.
  2. Rinse your lenses under tepid running water – ensure the water is tepid; hot water could damage the coating and warp the frame.
  3. Dry with a clean, lint-free microfibre cloth.
  4. Be gentle! Coatings and special finishes need care – a bit of TLC.

Step-by-Step: Cleaning Your Spectacle Lenses on the go

  1. Try to have clean hands before touching your specs to reduce further dirt and grease.
  2. Use a non-alcohol-based specs spray cleaner to remove as much dirt, grime and dust as possible.
